About Dr. Sari

Dr. Sari Kosdon is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY33626) in Los Angeles, California specializing in the treatment of adolescent and young adults. She received her MA and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. and a BA from the University of California, Davis in Psychology, Spanish, and International Relations. Dr. Kosdon completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the Community Health Awareness Council in Mountain View, CA and an APA-accredited postdoctoral 2-year fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles – USC Keck School of Medicine. 
During her fellowship, Dr. Kosdon provided individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and young adults as well as consultation in interdisciplinary clinics, and administration of psychological assessments.

At Community Health Awareness Council, Dr. Kosdon worked with both school-aged children as well as adolescents and gained experience collaborating with school faculty. During her graduate school training, Dr. Kosdon worked in both outpatient and residential settings with children, adolescents, and adults.

Dr. Kosdon has training in a variety of clinical approaches that include relational, cognitive-behavioral, and attachment-focused techniques. In her current practice, she provides therapy to teenagers and young adults. She works mostly with clinical issues related to depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment problems. She also provides educational assessments for children, adolescents and adults.
